Don’t think I’ll be speaking French today,

In fact doubt if I’ll speak at all.

My body language will give nothing away

I’ll just glide along invisibly against the wall.

So who do they think they are?

Looking at me like I owe them something

Like sanity, maybe;

A nod or a look that confirms what’s bad

And decides what’s good

Which lead to follow

Which pill to swallow

And what’s smart but not formal

And which way is normal.

I’m cancelling all flights outside the UK

In favour of the bubble which spirits me away

Whenever I choose to escape from the sham

Which society needs to tell me who I am.

Who do they think they are?

Judging me like I’m weird or something

Like I’m cookie, maybe

A loner in town is a common enemy to push around

To point at, or point out to keep knowledge at bay

To know the score is to sign your life away.

To know who your friends are is to know thyself.

To know who your friends are is to know thyself. (Know thyself)

The safest to walk is against the wall (against the wall). [Rpt al fine]
