Reincarnate Me (6 mins 45 secs) is a departure from our normal direction. Mary does the vocals, and most of the jazz piano backing track was programmed, not played, along with frantic dance-jazz fusion drums. The video is actually a promo for eSCape tv™ and the Sister Company web site, and consists of a patchwork of footage from our filming across Europe (14 cities), in summer 2003. The verses have been displaced by clips of multi-lingual presenting in this edit, which was originally intended to be shown online through our web site, in wine bars, railway stations and on Eurolines coaches. Depending on how things evolve during 2006, this plan may yet be carried through.

The squeaky-clean, Eurofied Blue Peter/Jools Holland-meets-Antoine de Caunes/kids’ TV presenters’ alter-image we chose for this project contrasts sharply with the image we project as part of Sister Company. Obviously, we do not wish to send out conflicting messages here, unless we are effectively in control of how they are likely to be interpreted; this is an example of where we need good, experienced PR support.
